Pinhani wordt sinds de oprichting, mede door hun unieke houding op en buiten het podium, beschouwd als één van de meest bijzondere bands van het land.
Terwijl ze altijd alle verwachting overtreffen, zijn ze nooit terughoudend in het gaan voor het onverwachte. Ze spelen overal, tot in de meest afgelegen Turkse steden en hierdoor is hun muziek een eclectische samensmelting van traditionele muziekstijlen uit alle regio’s. Daarbij draaien ze er niet de hand voor om hier een goede dosis rock aan toe te voegen.
Pinhani boekte hun eerste succes toen een nummer uit hun eerste album de soundtrack werd van een beroemde Turkse TV serie. Hun tweede album werd zo goed ontvangen dat zij regelmatig voor uitverkochte zalen optraden in de belangrijkste concerthallen. Terwijl zij hun achterban opbouwden door zoveel mogelijk op te treden, produceerde de band ook continue nieuwe muziek. Door het gebruik van traditionele melodieën en ritmes en deze om te zetten in iets compleet nieuws hebben zij 6 albums en 7 singles uitgebracht. Hun meest recente album is gebaseerd op Turkse volksliederen (Türkü) uit diverse regio’s uit Turkije.

Since their formation in 2004, Pinhani is considered to be one of the most extraordinary music bands in Turkey with their unique attitude on and off stage. While they always go above and beyond the expectations, they are not hesitant to go for the unexpected as well. They are the only band in the country thats been always on the road to play gigs even in the most remote towns with a live-music-craving audience. As a result of that, their music is heavily influenced by different traditions of all these regions, representing the whole countrys music culture. They have been able to successfully merge Turkish instruments into rock music, as well.
Pinhani first came to fame when their songs on the first album became a part of the soundtrack of a very famous TV show. Their second album became a huge hit and also paved the way for sold out shows at important concert venues. While building their fan base by playing live gigs as much as possible, they were constantly producing new music as well. By using traditional tunes and rhythms and turning them something completely new, they have released 6 full length albums and 7 singles to this day. Their most recent album is solely based on the Turkish traditional folk songs (Türkü) emerging from different regions of Turkey.
